JURY STATEMENT: Considered among the most poetic entries, the bridge of chairs surprises by intriguing issues: sameness and differences are orchestrated in a seducing entity. Thus this architectural essay embodies playful variations within the module and composition rules. The proposal reveals an innovative way to associate two metaphors: the one of the string and other of chairs. This positions the design within the "inhabitable bridges", cathegory so much debated nowadays. At this level, the bridge of chairs displays sophisticatedly an oximoron character: it encompass both creative potential and risks by impossibility of use. It consequently an overly stated promise that relies, obviously, on metaphor.
